I made it!

The results are in:

I lost about 7 lbs!


I lost half an inch off my hips, thighs and calves! 

I can’t believe I made it all 30 days (give or take a Thanksgiving cheat day!) !

Now tomorrow I’m not gonna pig out but I will limit my Gluten, dairy, sugar and processed foods if and when at all possible!

I don’t wanna gain weight back!

Today I went to the gym and did arms and core! 

I had a delicious berry kale collagen smoothie and an egg cup for breakfast. I had my veggie salad and bone broth for lunch. I had to work late so I made a quick shrimp and veg one pan dinner!

I did have a piece of dark chocolate to kind of reward myself:)

Speaking of, will you pray for my family? Last week my brother in NC was in a car accident, my brother in law in UK was hit on his bike, and today my sis and brother in law in Boston were hit as they were crossing the street!

Thank God they are all ok and gonna make it, but please understand I’m a bit shaken and emotional!

Oops!
I must have been tired last night and forgot to press Publish!
I started the day by thinking I had to be up early for a workout but I instead stumbled on a new Pilates class they added at my local Lil 24 HR fitness!!! It was wonderful!! The teacher went slow which is awesome:) Just what I needed!

It is Giving Tuesday so I wore my Reliv shirt, to share about my favorite charity, their Kalogris Foundation that feeds nutrition to the poor around the world. 

Breakfast was on the go an Egg Cup.
Lunch was salmon and veggies. I was tired of salad! Lol!
I smacked on Pistachios and black Sunflower seeds.
Dinner was turkey burgers and roasted curry cauliflower and salad.
Tomorrow will be my last day of this challenge!

Tonight I am mourning the loss of the Brazilian football team:(. Praying for that community:(

Ragin cravin!

Today started out a little frustrating. 

Lefty was super annoying this morning at the park.  A nice gentleman with his well trained dog (who was off leash) warned us that the neighbors might complain(I told him I wouldn’t bring him again).  I was embarrassed because a) I don’t want him to distract us from workouts b) I would hate to bother those neighbors c) I second guessed my mothering skills. I know I should ignore him just being a yorkie, being himself, but when he gets loud and aggressive or rudely wanting attention or protective, it’s really tough. My husband agreed “Yeah, that’s rough, don’t even bring him back there again, don’t worry about it!” So I got over it. We finished the 21 Day challenge and are now moving into the end of year challenge:) Then when I got home my readings were All about this!!! Amazing. Faith and trust. 

My breakfast was so delicious. Eggs, avocado and salsa:)

Lunch was a salad. I did get snacky and min by in the afternoon. It was weird like a hormonal chocolate craving or something.

Work actually ended alright.  A patient brought me a beautiful scarf as a gift and my coworker texted me that I was super helpful (I thought that was really nice).

Dinner was Brussels sprouts, Cornish hen and veggies from the crockpot, and salad. 

Advent 

Sundays are our rest days:)

Today marks the first Sunday in Advent. Advent means arrival, appearance, emergence.

Today we rested and read. I just had a little fruit.

We went to a wonderful church service.

I went to Yoga.

We had brunch of eggs, bacon and a little sweet tater.

We put the tree up!


I went to Target(which was a zoo).

We relaxed and read and had more Tea.

Back on Track!

Time for a cleanse! I wanted to stick closer to Whole 30 today.

I only had a Cutie mini tangerine and a green apple because I wasn’t that hungry this morning. Housecleaned. Taught Piano.

I fixed a huge salad for lunch.

I went to Acupuncture.

When I walked out, the rain was coming down so that cancelled our workout plans.  We completed our 21 day Scrumptious Body challenge with Valerie!  But that was fine, I fed my friend’s cat and went to the bank and then wound up in the gym. I went to the Elliptical but I got so frustrated trying to play music!  Have you heard of Fit Radio? My trial was up, so I just deleted the app because I was annoyed.  I knew some of my apps would use too much data.  The google play app crashed.  For some reason my Music iTunes would not play! It wasn’t my headphones. I just couldn’t hear anything it was odd!!:( Then I spent about ten minutes in the sauna. 

Dinner was butter lettuce and a white sweet potato.  I wasn’t that hungry and figured it was better than nothing:)

I was tempted to make popcorn but I didn’t!

We watched “JuneBug” -it was so sad!

Thanksgiving Part II

Breakfast today? Leftover baked stuffed apple of course!

Ran errands and went to a good strong workout with Valerie(gonna be sore tomorrow).

Walked my friend’s dog and fed my friend’s cat(two pet sitting jobs).


Finally we made it to like this five course meal with my sisters! And it was a m a z i n g!!!

Quality Time with these two gorgeous ladies made me a little homesick, but warmed my heart because we cooked, ate, cleaned and played Taboo and walked and ate pie together. This was my main cheat day;) I had so much fun laughing! Lefty was so excited!

Anyway, we talked newlywed life with my baby sis (visiting from AZ) and the hostess we talked with her about wedding planning.

I am super excited and hopeful about traveling to Mexico for her April wedding, but a tad nervous about Zika, so they let me have a good cry about that.  We walked by the Beach Boardwalk, we laughed at the dogs running around, and we got to know my sister’s future father in law.  Seriously, though, we ate everything from Appetizers to soup to lobster Mac n cheese to ribs to veggies to casseroles and pie…It was pretty heavenly!


What a fabulous day!!

Giving Thanks

Well, I tried to sleep in a little:) I was tempted to stay in my Pajamas all day.

We had baked stuffed apples together this morning:)


Lefty and I went hiking:


Watched a bit of the Parade and some Twilight Zone!

Then we ate our fill at the Cousins’!


I did ok, but gave in with the whipped cream! I was good about grains and didn’t have a lot of sugar just a few bites of everything. Still feel very full.(Did I gain the weight back I just lost?!)

Tonight we watched the remake of Anne of Green Gables:)

Pre Turkey Burn

I was in the Sauna by 6:25 am! It was very nice and quiet.  Then Valerie and I worked out and did our Pre Turkey Burn!


Next I had my quick shower and breakfast of boiled egg and grapefruit.

I went to the MRI for my knee. At one point I moved so he had to do that one over again but other than that I was fine:) I will find out results Monday.

This means I made it to work early!

I had avocado and salad for lunch. 

I had to stay a little later than I wanted for a late patient though. 

Dinner was shrimp and salad(he had rice).

Now to start on pre cooking/baking for my cousin’s tomorrow.

Thankful for you, my readers. Grateful for my husband, family, friends, my job, apartment, car, for church, for so many things!!

Transformation Tuesday

This morning, I don’t know if it was the red shirt from the Mustache Dache, or my new leggings from Girlfriend Collective but my Trainer friend Valerie noticed I am losing weight!!!


So that made me feel good and start my day on a high note!

I made the most delicious breakfast


Had a grilled chicken salad for lunch!

Work was fine; my knee has been bugging me a lot though.

Tonight’s dinner was chicken sausage and peppers and onions and salad:)

Blessed and thankful.

Get that aggression Out!

Look what our Trainer Valerie brought! 


We kicked it and whacked it and punched the heck out of that thing! It did help get my aggression out!

Then I went home and got Lefty and went by the store to refill my Kangen Alkaline water. I made a berry smoothie for breakfast.  Then I spent like 30min browsing Barnes and Noble!

I had a pretty good day at work (except for a minor printer frustration).  Lunch was a salad(I am getting tired of salad;))

My doctor’s nurse called with good news about my test AMH “egg health” being normal so that is good.

Tonight was “Spaghetti.” I had salad, bison and good sauce and made him the noodles, but I put mine over butter nut squash! Yeahhh!!! 

Lefty and I took a nice stroll to the park and now we are all going to hit the hay!

No stress, no hate, no judgment, no guilt!
